Iowa is expected to export about 9 percent fewer products this year, after a decade of almost consistent export growth, reports DesMoinesRegister.com. Experts blame last year's drought and a stronger U.S. dollar this year for the dip. In 2012, the Greater Des Moines area hit a record $1.2 billion, an increase of 22 percent over 2011.
