Jeff Jobe has been named the new USDA Rural Development Business-Cooperative Programs director in Iowa. Jobe started his career with USDA Rural Development in 1984, and during the past 30 years has held a variety of positions with the organization. He has served as a field advisor/regional coordinator with USDA Rural Development's National Office since 2006. Jobe replaces Randy Frescoln, who recently retired after 20 years in the position. Frescoln oversaw the obligation of $1 billion in federal assistance to more than 3,000 businesses and producers in Iowa.
