Swinging '60s, Paris. Playboy Bernard is engaged to Gloria. And Gabriella. And Gretchen. When a scheduling change grounds all three flight attendants, Bernard's supersonic life hits turbulence. His friend, Robert, has trouble remembering which lie to tell to which woman, and his housekeeper, Berthe, is done helping with the deception.
Mistaken identities and slamming doors abound in this farce that is a prequel to Don't Dress for Dinner, a hit in our 2009 season.
"This latest edition of a play named for an aircraft soars right out of its time zone and into some unpolluted stratosphere of classic physical comedy. Propelled by the same gusty spirit that animated Commedia dell'Arte and the silent films of Keaton, Chaplin and Lloyd, [this] may be earthy, but it's seldom earthbound." — New York Times
