Habitat for Humanity and Hammers and Heels on Saturday will dedicate the eighth home in Des Moines built for the nonprofit by women, according to a release. The 10 a.m. ceremony will be at the home at 1505 17th St. More than 200 women helped build the home this spring through the Hammers and Heels program. The Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines and Wells Fargo & Co. provided funding and dozens of volunteers.
