The Metro Arts Alliance announced 15 venues that will host this year's Metro Arts Jazz in July season. The monthlong festival celebrates jazz and art with free outdoor concerts throughout Greater Des Moines. The King Irving Neighborhood will host its first Jazz in July concert at Evelyn K. Davis Park this year. The series celebrates its 31st anniversary this summer, and draws more than 20,000 people annually. A final list of bands that will perform will be released later this month.
