Salute to Senior Service, a program recognizing deserving older adults for their contributions in volunteer and community service, is accepting nominations for the awards. The program is sponsored by Home Instead Inc., the franchisor of the Home Instead Senior Care network. Nominees must be age 65 or older and must volunteer at least 15 hours per month. State winners will be determined by popular vote. A panel of senior care experts will then select a national Salute to Senior Service winner from among the state honorees.
