Bow ties, pocket squares and holiday charity

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa is styling up holiday giving by partnering with the "Bow Tie King," national designer Edward Armah, andBadowers for a fundraising effort from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at Badowers/Proper's annual holiday party.
The Bow Tie King created a limited-edition pocket square that features the BBBSCI logo, and for each one sold, he will donate $40 to BBBSCI. We try not to meddle in our sister publication dsm magazine's fashion expertise, but it sure seems clear to us that bow ties are the new hot trend in business fashion.
After all, Des Moines' own Bow Tie King, Business Record columnist Dave Elbert, has been setting the trend for years.
