The John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park downtown soon may have a new, interactive feature if the Des Moines City Council approves. The council is expected to vote tonight on a walk-through kaleidoscope at the park, according to KCCI. The feature is designed by artist Olafur Eliasson, who adapts light, darkness, ice and fog into his work. Construction for the foundation would begin in mid-October, with installation in early November.
