The Iowa Chamber Alliance released its 2014 legislative priorities today. Top priorities are:

  • Improving the tax climate for both corporations and individuals to be competitive with other states,
  • Increased funding for Iowa Economic Development Authority for programs and incentives,
  • New or alternative sources of revenue for transportation infrastructure,
  • Closing the skills gap in the state.

The Iowa Chamber Alliance is a nonpartisan coalition representing the 16 largest chambers of commerce and economic development organizations in the state, including the Greater Des Moines Partnership. For more information on the alliance's legislative agenda, click here.
