Iowa moved up to third place from seventh in overall rankings in the annual Kids Count report from the Annie E. Casey Foundation, reports DesMoinesRegister.com. Massachusetts and Vermont finished above Iowa on the list. Three measures of children's well-being improved dramatically in Iowa, which boosted the state's ranking.
