Russia's ruble value is lowest ever as new sanctions loom
CNN Money: Russia's currency has hit its lowest level ever against the U.S. dollar as the risk of new Western sanctions threatens more economic damage. The European Union said Saturday it was preparing to issue new sanctions as soon as this week in response to signs that Russia had sent troops into Ukraine. The ruble has declined by about 13 percent this year. One dollar will now buy you about 37.5 rubles.
Uber temporarily banned across Germany by court ruling
New York Times: A court in Frankfurt has banned the ride-hailing service Uber from operating in the country until a hearing later this year on the legality of the service, which allows people to use their smartphones to book rides with freelance drivers.
