Christopher Ford, program manager for the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition, and Amedeo Rossi, project manager for the 80/35 music festival, are the speakers for the Oct. 17 Des Moines Leadership Network luncheon. Ford and Rossi will share insights on how they are trying to create a more diverse music community in the city, and speak on the success of 80/35 and other events in the metro area. The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Des Moines Embassy Club at Ruan Center, 666 Grand Ave. Registration is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
