Muscatine Journal: Officials in Wilton may be near the end of their patience with the Vitalix plant. Complaints about smell from the livestock feed supplement manufacturer began shortly after the plant started operations in 2013. The odors lessened, but complaints resumed again last fall, and at Monday night's city council meeting, Mayor Bob Barrett said a few more complaints have been received. Barrett's warning to Vitalix: Stop the smell or face Wilton's nuisance ordinance.
