Orchard Place is teaming up with the Iowa Public Television Foundation to host a planned giving and ethics seminar on Wednesday, May 28, at the Maytag Auditorium in Johnston. The seminar, is geared toward attorneys, accountants, financial advisors and other professional advisors, and also counts toward continuing education credit. Speakers at the event include Richard Koontz, current director of the Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center, and Paul Morf, who chairs the wills, trusts and estate planning group at Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman. A representative of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines will discuss the Endow Iowa Tax Credit Program. The fee to attend is $25 per person.
