A total of 96 percent of accredited estate planners have experience with planned giving projects with nonprofit organizations, according to a study released today by Des Moines-based The Stelter Co. The company's report, called "Metrics That Matter -- The Link Between Advisors, Donors and Nonprofits," is the result of a national study on behaviors, attitudes and characteristics of professional advisers in connection to nonprofit organizations and their donors. The goal is to help guide nonprofits in fundraising.
