Des Moines, Indianola and Granger are among 20 Iowa cities that have received low-cost water quality loans recently through the State Revolving Fund. The Iowa Finance Authority announced Friday that it has awarded more than $42.3 million in loans to 20 municipalities through the fund, which is jointly administered by the Iowa Finance Authority and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. In Central Iowa, the Des Moines Metro Wastewater Reclamation Authority received $7.7 million; the City of Indianola received $4.04 million the City of Granger received $285,000. The financing provided includes low-interest construction loans zero-interest planning loans.
