The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) will host the Iowa-Israel Innovation Initiative on June 25. The event will provide an overview of the Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation (BIRD) and the Binational Agricultural Research and Development Foundation (BARD). Individuals and companies will have an opportunity to hear from representatives from the Israeli government and past Iowa-based recipients of funding from BIRD and BARD, which gives up to $1 million on a semiannual basis to U.S. and Israeli partners that jointly develop innovative technologies. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the IEDA main conference room on the second floor of 200 E.
