Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. is in talks to sell itself to Gaming and Leisure Properties Inc., an owner of casino real estate properties, the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier  is reporting. Isle of Capri has locations in Waterloo and Bettendorf. Pennsylvania-based Gaming and Leisure Properties is a spinoff of Penn National Gaming Inc., which owns the Argosy Casino in Sioux City. Argosy is currently in court fighting a closure ordered by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission. According to the article, sources told Reuters news service that a potential deal is still weeks away and could unravel.
