The city of Waukee announced that it has appointed Tim Moerman, currently the assistant city manager of Ankeny, as its city administrator. Moerman has more than 25 years of city administration experience and was involved in riverfront development in Dubuque and downtown redevelopment in Mason City while working for those communities. He is expected to begin his new job on Feb. 18.
