Debra Janssen will become president and CEO of CDS Global Inc., the company announced today.

She takes over the CEO role from Malcolm Netburn, who was the company's chairman and CEO and will remain the company's chairman.

Janssen has worked at CDS Global as the chief operating officer since 2012 and has more than 25 years of experience working with customer data, security and high-volume transaction processing. She previously worked at MasterCard Worldwide, Debit Services Group and First Data Corp. In 2013, she was appointed to the board of the Iowa Partnership on Economic Progress by Gov. Terry Branstad.

A CDS Global spokesperson said the move was "a natural progression" for Janssen. She immediately took charge of day-to-day operations in 2012, and Netburn has been working on a more strategic level for the company in building customer relationships.

Netburn joined CDS Global in 2007 and has more than 25 years of experience with magazine, newspaper, book and media companies, including a New York-based firm he helped found in 1986 called Netburn McGill.

In a press release, he praised Janssen's leadership abilities and said he is "pleased to continue our highly effective partnership."

CDS Global provides business process outsourcing for more than 1,100 brands across several industries, including media, nonprofits, utilities and consumer products.
