A new nonprofit - Milwaukee-based Society for Annuity Facts & Education Inc. (SAFE) - is setting out to educate people about annuities. 

"SAFE believes that providing accurate, easy-to-understand information about annuities and the role they play in insuring retirement savings and retirement income is essential," said Mark Stone, president of SAFE, in a release.
