Small businesses should stick with online checking accounts because they are less expensive and have more features than branch accounts, according to a report from personal finance social network WalletHub, which examined checking  and savings account offers by user type, institution type, region and other factors. Small business branch accounts are 46 percent more expensive, have 4 percent fewer features and offer 57 percent lower interest rates than consumer accounts. WalletHub also recommends that consumers also should rely on online accounts because they are 19 percent cheaper than branch accounts, have 20 percent more features and provide a 122 percent higher average interest rate, according to the report.
