An expanded center at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines will provide a family-friendly clinic for children undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. The new Blank Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, supported by the Deb & Jeff Hansen Foundation, will provide comprehensive and coordinated medical care for children by a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, the hospital announced. "We are deeply honored to give our support to Blank Children's Hospital for this newly expanded center," said Jeff Hansen, CEO of Iowa Select Farms in Iowa Falls and co-founder of the foundation. The amount of the donation was not disclosed. The Hansens last year donated $1.5 million for a new hospital being built in Iowa Falls. Iowa Select Farms last year donated $25,000 to the Child Life Services Program at Blank Children's Hospital.
