ZLR Ignition, Blue Compass win awards for UnityPoint Health rebranding

Two Greater Des Moines marketing firms have garnered national awards for their work to help UnityPoint Health rebrand itself from Iowa Health System earlier this year. West Des Moines-based Blue Compass Interactive received a 2013 Web Health Award for its work on the UnityPoint Health brand. The UnityPoint Health website, which was launched earlier this year, received a Silver Award for best health website. Blue Compass also received a Social Media Merit Award for its strategy and design for the UnityPoint Health - Des Moines' Google Plus presence, and an Infographic Merit Award for its design of a "Coordinated Care: Mom Delivering Twins" infographic. In a separate competition, UnityPoint Health and ZLR Ignition received the Strategic Health Care Communications' eHealthcare Platinum Award for Best Marketing Campaign. The campaign generated 43 percent unaided consumer awareness of the name change among consumers surveyed.
