Aaron Beam, the former chief financial officer and co-founder of Alabama-based HealthSouth Corp. who spent three months in prison for securities fraud, will lecture at Iowa State University on April 21. Beam, who was convicted for his role in his company's $2 billion securities fraud, will talk about the unethical and illegal decisions that led to his downfall. The lecture is part of Iowa State's Bacon Ethics Lecture series, named after the late Murray Bacon, a computer executive who started the series to focus attention on business ethics.
