Iowa small businesses believe the economy and jobs are the most important factors when choosing a president, according to new data released by The George Washington University and Thumbtack.com.
However, Iowa owners differ from their national counterparts on which candidate would be best for them. Nationally, 39 percent of those surveyed say Barack Obama is more supportive of small business.
In Iowa, 39 percent of those surveyed said Mitt Romney is most supportive of small business. Thumbtack.com surveyed 6,164 small businesses across the United States.
