The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host a series of candidate forums in September and October for its investors and regional members.

The series involves a town hall-style format, where Central Iowa business and community leaders will have the opportunity to hear from and question the candidates about their vision for Iowa. The Partnership's 2014 Candidate Series is sponsored by MidAmerican Energy Co.

The Partnership has extended invitations to candidates for governor, the U.S. Senate, and Iowa's congressional districts. The candidates from both major political parties were invited. All forums will take place at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden.
