Movoto Real Estate of San Mateo, Calif., ranks Waukee as the top place to live in Iowa, based on variety of factors, including its crime rate, its number of high school graduates and median income. The firm's website says it is on a state-to-state search of the best places to live. In Iowa, the great majority of the top 10 are in Greater Des Moines.
