Mortgage foreclosure and delinquency rates declined in July in Greater Des Moines, CoreLogic Inc. reported. Foreclosures dropped to 2.41 percent from 2.46 percent in July 2011. For the state, 2.05 percent of loans were in foreclosure in July, and the national foreclosure rate was 3.25 percent. Mortgage loans that were at least 90 days delinquent decreased to 4.39 percent from 4.52 percent last year in Greater Des Moines. For the state, 3.82 percent of mortgages were 90 days or more overdue in July. The national figure was 6.71 percent.
