A new nanobrewery in Clive, 515 Brewing Co., is
now open at 7700 University Ave. Launched by four local business partners, the
brewery features a three-barrel brewing system on-site and a tasting room
offering beer by the glass. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and networking event with
the Clive Chamber of Commerce will be 4 to 6 p.m. March 22. Grand opening
festivities will be Saturday, March 23 from 3 to 7 p.m. and include free
T-shirts to the first 50 people, door prizes on the hour, brewery tours and
food for purchase by Tacopocalypse. Its business hours are Thursdays 4-9 p.m.,
Fridays 4-11 p.m., Saturdays noon-11 p.m. and Sundays noon-5 p.m. For
