I've written for the Business Record since July 2003 and I'm the longest tenured reporter on staff.
I'm a native of Sarasota, Fla., and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Stetson University in 1984. After serving for four years in the United States Air Force as a cost analysis officer, I returned to school and received a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado in 1992.
During my journalism career I've been a business reporter at the Wyoming Business Report and Wyoming Tribune-Eagle in Cheyenne, Wyo., and business editor at the Bismarck Tribune in North Dakota. My wife Emily and I have two daughters and currently reside in Ankeny after a recent move from Indianola.
I'm always looking for story ideas, so feel free to call or e-mail if you want to get in contact with me.
