Trilix wins Clear Channel contest

Trilix Marketing Group Inc., a Johnston-based marketing and advertising agency, won Clear Channel's 2012 Outy Award with a campaign that will utilize Twitter hashtags on digital billboards around the city.
Several "trends" will be displayed on the boards throughout the 13-week campaign, encouraging viewers to log in on Twitter, follow Trilix and interact with the trending topic of the day.
The hashtags are meant to keep viewers in the loop on what's trending and encourage conversation - when off the road, of course. Watch for the billboards around the Des Moines area January through March 2013.
