The Technology Association of Iowa today announced that Brian Waller will start as president on Sept. 29.  He replaces Leann Jacobsen, who is stepping down after nine years to spend more time working on community projects in her hometown of Spencer. Most recently, Waller served as manager of information technology business development at the Iowa Economic Development Authority. Before that, he was the executive director at the Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce.  Waller has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Colorado State University.  Jacobsen will continue with TAI beyond Sept. 29 to ensure a smooth transition, the organization said in a release.
