Boeing Co. secured $101.5 billion in transactions for its biggest-ever deal by value at the Dubai Air Show,Bloomberg reported. Boeing now has 86 percent of the backlog for its new 777X wide-body with Persian Gulf carriers such as Emirates. Emirates purchased 150 of the planes valued at about $75.6 billion. Three of the first four customers of Boeing's 777X are from the Middle East. Airbus SAS also had a good day at the show.
