18 Central Iowa leaders plan to skydive to support Above + Beyond Cancer

275 wordsAll Latest News, Nonprofits and PhilanthropyOver the next month, Central Iowa leaders in business, health, philanthropy, government and more will be tandem parachuting to support Above + Beyond Cancer. More than $80,000 has been raised so far to support cancer survivor programs. Above + Beyond Cancer was founded in 2011 by Des Moines oncologist Richard Deming. Support for the jumpers and Above + Beyond Cancer can be found here. Of note: Connie Wimer, owner and chairman of Business Publications Corp., the parent company of the Business Record, will be one of the skydiving participants.
