The West Des Moines Leadership Academy says 36 people will participate in its 2024-25 program. The aim is to use experiential learning and a community project to help emerging leaders improve leadership effectiveness during the program’s nine months, according to a news release from the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce, which runs the Leadership Academy. “For 16 years, the leadership academy has provided transformative experiences to leaders throughout West Des Moines,” said Shannon Hasse, advisory council chair, in a prepared statement.
