Limouisine company plans construction of two garages
Luxxor Limousine & Coach Bus, a Des Moines transportation business, plans to build two large buildings on 4.7 acres at 1601 E. Army Post Road to store its vehicles and house offices. A site plan for the project is slated to be discussed at the Des Moines Plan and Zoning Commission’s meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at Richard A. Clark Municipal Service Center, 1551 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway. The two proposed buildings – one 20,800 square feet and the other, 27,000 square feet – would store the business’s limousines and motor coaches. The business currently has offices in northeast Des Moines.
