The Des Moines Symphony will broadcast a Virtual New Year’s Eve Celebration on Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. Hosts Kevin and Mollie Cooney will feature the Des Moines Symphony’s musicians, along with special guests Leslie Odom Jr., Renee Elise Goldsberry, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michael Cavanaugh, Christiane Noll, Steve Lippia, Ann Callaway, Spectrum, and others. The event will be presented free to the community on www.dmsymphony.org and the Symphony’s YouTube channel. Event Supporter packages are also available, and include dinner and wine packages, wine and cheese pairings, special gifts and an invitation to a virtual Musician Meet & Greet with the Des Moines Symphony’s musicians before the main broadcast.
