Reyma McCoy McDeid joins Administration for Community Living

Reyma McCoy McDeid has joined the Administration for Community Living as the commissioner of the Administration on Disabilities and director of the Independent Living Administration. In her role, she’ll oversee programs that empower people with disabilities to live independently and fully participate in their communities. The Administration for Community Living is part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. McCoy McDeid was previously executive director of the Central Iowa Center for Independent Living. She was featured in a Business Record story in 2019 about connecting workers with disabilities to employers (Insider).
