Chris Lorenz has been promoted to executive vice president at Palmer Group, the employment firm announced today. Lorenz moved into the newly created position Jan. 4. The creation of the role is part of the company’s overall succession planning strategy, the company said in a news release. Lorenz earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Northern Iowa, and he joined Palmer Group in 2013 to recruit for the company’s engineering and manufacturing division. He also has held positions as a recruiter, account executive, division manager and director. “Chris has excelled in every role he has held in his seven-year career at Palmer Group, and I am extremely excited to move forward with this important position for our company,” Palmer President Dave Leto said in the release. “Chris has a great passion for the employment industry and brings big ideas and perspectives to help our company move well into the future with a focus on taking care of our employee owners, contractors, and valued clients.” Lorenz said he’s excited to take on his new role and help move the company forward. “Together we are focused on our company purpose, to make lives better,” he said.
