Since last spring, we’ve all heard that it’s not enough to just say you’re not racist, and that we instead need to adopt anti-racism beliefs and actions that promote equality and inclusion of Black and brown people in society. During Black History Month, it’s a good time to do a self-check and see where we all are in our own personal reckonings. Business Insider has published a list of 22 books that show where things stand in American today. They talked to Black professors and scholars at institutions nationwide about their recommendations, and they included some popular books on anti-racism being read at local libraries.
