The plan would overhaul Birdland Park into a resort-like recreational area complete with a new boathouse, fishing, kayak rentals, playgrounds, a skating ribbon, a splash pad and a river overlook. The park is currently anchored by a marina, a rentable shelter and Captain Roy’s, a popular riverfront bar and restaurant.
