Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Laura Jackson and Delta Dental CEO Jeff Russell will host the annual Bravo Awards Gala Feb. 2 at Hy-Vee Hall in downtown Des Moines. Jackson is Wellmark’s executive vice president of health care innovation and business development. “Jeff and Laura both understand how our vibrant arts and culture landscape advances economic development and improves the quality of life and overall well-being for residents and visitors throughout Central Iowa, and we are so fortunate to have them serve as the co-hosts of the 2019 Bravo Awards Gala,” said Sally Dix, Bravo executive director. Gala proceeds help offset administrative expenses for Bravo, which is largely funded by hotel-motel taxes from 17 member communities.
