The World Food Prize Foundation announced that Morgan Day has assumed a new role at the Foundation as the director of Global Programs and Partnerships. Day will be responsible, in partnership with Keegan Kautzky, for the expansion of the World Food Prize Foundation’s existing education programs on a national and international level. She will work to establish new state youth institutes across America to create opportunities for high school students to explore global issues that affect food security and hunger. Day has a Master of Arts in international development and a concentration in sustainable agriculture and food security policy from the Josef Korbel School for International Studies at the University of Denver. She began as a George Washington Carver intern at the foundation in 2012 and was appointed director of planning in 2016. Day replaces Libby Crimmings, who departed from the foundation in August.
