King’s Material, a Cedar Rapids-based concrete, masonry and landscaping company, has acquired the assets of Mulch Mart in Waukee, the company announced. “This is in line with our long-term vision to continue to build upon our foundation of high-quality products and great customer experience across the Midwest,” Pat Sauter, King’s Material vice president, said in a prepared statement. King’s Material is a family-owned company that was founded in 1882, according to its website.
