Monday’s meeting came after city officials announced last week they planned to enforce section 2-70 of city code, which outlines rules residents attending public meetings must obey, including that those being disruptive may be cited for “disorderly conduct, trespass or interfering with the good order of the meeting.” Monday’s meeting started out calmly, but the mood shifted quickly.
