Waukee set a record last year for commercial projects

65 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentThe city of Waukee issued 29 commercial building permits last year with a record-setting valuation of $40.3 million, according to a release. In all, the city issued 961 permits, including 203 for single-family houses, 59 townhomes and 11 multifamily developments. Total valuation was $140.2 million. Major commercial projects included Palms Theatres & Imax, Veridian Credit Union, Cove at Kettlestone, Prairie Crossing and I-80 Industrial Park.
