Ryan Cos. US Inc. and Grand Living are proposing their third senior living project in Iowa and their first in West Des Moines. The five-story, 174-unit project will be located at 610 S. 51st St. As with the first two Iowa projects, this will offer an age-in-place concept that minimizes any moves residents need to make, with provisions for independent living, assisted and memory care services, according to a release. The community will have three restaurants; a spa and salon featuring fitness, indoor pool, beauty salon, massage and personal trainers; a performance theater; a library; a club room and other multi-use spaces. Living units will range from studios up to two bedrooms with dens.
