Alissa Nelson, design manager for Spark Design, has achieved the title of WELL Accredited Professional, R&R Realty Group announced. Spark Design is R&R’s in-house design firm. The WELL AP is a new credential signifying advanced knowledge of health and well-being in the built environment and specialization in the WELL Building Standard. To earn the WELL AP designation, designers must exhibit proficiency in design, health and wellness in the built environment through the WELL AP exam. “Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, wellbeing has taken on an entirely new level of importance in the workplace, and having an education on the WELL principals is now crucial for designers,” Nelson said in a prepared statement.
