Utility board member Wagner accepts role with Black Hills Energy

119 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawNick Wagner, a member of the Iowa Utilities Board, is stepping down to become vice president of Colorado regulatory affairs and policy with Black Hills Energy. According to a news release, Wagner, who was appointed to the IUB in 2013 by Gov. Terry Branstad and reappointed last year by Gov. Kim Reynolds, will begin his new role at Black Hills Energy’s office in Denver next month. Wagner, who lives in Marion, also has served as president of the Mid-America Regulatory Conference. He previously worked as director of quality management for the ESCO Group in Marion, and before joining the IUB, served four years on the Marion City Council and later served two terms in the Iowa House of Representatives.
